PLAYAWAY DEVICES ARE AVAILABLE AT YOUR HPL!

These are the small little audio devices and each one holds the audio version of just one book. There are about three buttons to push and very simple directions to follow. You can attach your own earbud, put the little gismo in your pocket and listen to the story unfold while you wash dishes, mow the lawn or ride on a stationary bike. Give one a try the next time you face an unpleasant household chore. If you don’t have your own earbuds, we’ll sell you a set for $1.00.

A group of dedicated teen readers that wanted to influence the books the library purchased for them. This way the library saves money and the teens get awesome books!

How to Join

Come to the library a lot. Express an interest to the librarians. And the rest of the process can only be known by a select few.

Second Tuesday of every month.
